WHAT foobarph HAD TO SAY?
Abril 20, 2007 at 3:13 umaga | In Life | 9 CommentsWhile doing my work (actually, I’m not really working, I’m bored.). Anne, one of Blogger’s blogger, popped some message and asked me if I could read her short post. At first, I thought I was reading a post regarding food. But my reading mood changed after I read this certain line of her post.
It was indeed an enriching evening with a few new friends. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “Great minds talk about ideas, average minds talk about events, and small minds talk about people.”
The first question to ask is, who cares? My answer, of course I care, because I know I have a great mind. Pretty easy to say, right? Like what I asked before, who cares… anyway?
According to Oxford Concise Dictionary, idea is defined as:
idea
· n.
1 a thought or suggestion as to a possible course of action. Ø a mental impression. Ø a belief.
2 (the idea) the aim.
3 Philosophy (in Platonic thought) an eternally existing pattern of which individual things in any class are imperfect copies. Ø (in Kantian thought) a concept of pure reason, not empirically based in experience.
– PHRASES get (or give someone) ideas informal become (or make someone) ambitious, conceited, or tempted to do something. have no idea informal not know at all. that’s the idea informal that’s right. the very idea! informal an exclamation of disapproval or disagreement.
– ORIGIN ME: via L. from Gk idea ‘form, pattern’, from the base of idein ‘to see’.
I have many thoughts running in my mind right now, but those thoughts are unwritten as of now (look at the title of my blog). But I think, I have to write some of those thoughts, not because I am obliged to do so, but because it is the only possible course of action I can do right now.
- I thought it would be better if we could simply stop looking at GMA’s failure from running her own government; after all, she’s not perfect and she always say that everything will be ok. People will die anyway so power and wealth will surely fly away. Can you guess what I’m trying to drive at?
- I also want to suggest that we should have a more technical and more professional approach when it comes to work in my new job. I’ve always consider my work as a career, not as a job. From the things I am seeing right now, I want to change something; not only for the benefit of myself but also for the benefit of other people. By the way, I learned this from my previous job who betrayed all my expectations, cool isn’t it?
- My only aim is to obtain everlasting life after this life. Even some of the movies have the same objective like mine, right? But my aim is feasible according to faith and belief. Is your belief the same like mine?
- My philosophy in life is that, do not expect anything from this life. Trust in God but you should also learn how to be smart. Being a genius and smart is a different thing. I am not a genius person but I am proud to say that “somehow”, I am smart. I should have learned this at my earlier age… so kids, should I explain further?
My ideas in life may not be that as great like our heroes or ancestors, but for me, having an idea (whether it be simple or complicated), is the first step of having a great mind.
Any roars or meows anyone?

Siya Nga
Abril 8, 2007 at 4:45 hapon | In Poetry | 15 CommentsMalamig na hangin,
mula sa kalaliman…
nawala, napawi, naparam.
Kakaibang pakiramdam,
galing sa kawalan…
nanaog, pumanik ngunit dagling lumisan.
Siya nga… Siya nga…
(impromptu lang mga kapatid kong blogger… para malaman ninyo na may interest pa akong mag blog… hindi naman mawawala sa atin yun diba? sana ok lang kayo dyan…)

Ever Since the World Begun by The Survivors
Abril 4, 2007 at 2:18 hapon | In Music | 14 CommentsI never knew what brought me here
As if somebody led my hand
It seems I hardly had to steer,
My course was planned.
A destiny that guides us all
And by it’s hand we rise and fall;
But only for a moment time
Enough to catch our breath again.
And we’re just another piece of the puzzle,
Just another part of the plan;
Oh, when life touches the other,
It’s so hard to understand.
Still we walk this road together,
We travel through as far as we can;
And we have waited for this moment in time
Ever since the world begun.
Takin’ in the times gone by
We wonder how it all began
We never know and still we try to understand.
And even though the seasons change
The reasons still remain the same;
It’s love that keeps us holdin’ on
Til we can see the sun again
And we’re just another piece of the puzzle,
Just another part of the plan;
And we have waited for this moment in time
Ever since the world began.
And I stand alone, a man of stone, against the drivin’ rain
And the night it’s got your number and the wind it passes your name;
And we search for truth, win or lose to whisper on again.
Where hopes still burns eternal,
We’re the people of the plain.
And we’re just another piece of the puzzle,
Just another part of the plan;
Oh, when life touches the other,
It’s so hard to understand.
Still we walk this road together,
We travel through as far as we can;
And we have waited for this moment in time
Ever since the world begun.
