WordPress Refund Policy

I was playing with my ***** card and I thought my transaction will “not” be successful. Too bad, I have enough credits to make it work and poof! I have additional 1GB space for one year which I paid for $20.

Here’s the proof.

According to WordPress Terms of Service, Item 3, it states that:

  1. Fees and Payment. Optional premium paid services such as extra storage, domain purchases or VIP hosting are available on the Website. By selecting a premium service you agree to pay Automattic the monthly or annual subscription fees indicated for that service (the payment terms for VIP hosting are described below). Payments will be charged on the day you sign up for a premium service and will cover the use of that service for a monthly or annual period as indicated. Premium service fees are not refundable.

To fully satisfy my frustration over my own “mistake”, I’ll just post my transaction history…

The VISA-PAYPAL *AUTOMATTICI CA US transacation description is the stuff I’m talking about. Arg! I should have just bought an online cellphone/game load instead of increasing my space.

But wait, I’m thinking of some remedies…

  1. Transfer this free space to a fellow blogger.
  2. Instead of additional space, I’ll just avail the full control css editing feature.
  3. Beg Matt for a refund since I’m a poor blogger (yeah right!)

In short, be careful on what you click and do not be trigger happy. Good day!

  1. heheheeh — ako i need to upgrade kaya lang nagiipon ako pambili ng tabo, ahaha. hindi na daw ako pwedeng mag upload ng photos e, kaso mo hindi ko naman alam kung worth it yung mag upgrade. let me know kung okay ha :D

  2. bakit ka nagspace upgrade?!? ahehe.. gusto ko yung full control css editing :( bakit kasi di na lang gawing libre. damot nila amp.

  3. kakatingin ko lang kanina nyan sa wordpress at nag-iisip ako na mag upgrads pero since sabi mo nga eh sayang lang hmm hindi na lang din!

    foo: nasasayo na rin misyel kung gusto mong mag upgrade. yung sa akin kasi, tine testing ko lang talaga, hindi ko naman inaakala na magiging “ok” yung transaction at may funds pa yung **** card ko. oh well… pero kung gusto mo, try mo yung css features. ^^

  4. wow ang yaman mo nagspace upgrade ka… pero dapat di mo na ginawa kc msaya naman kc khit hindi upgraded.. babasahin ko prin thoughts mo khindi… uy tinag- kita ah..

  6. haha. sana tanggapin ni matt ang offer mo.

    20 x 40 = tumataginting na 800 pesos din yun. at least, di na 50 ang exchange rate. 1000 pa sana ang 1 gb space mo.

    foo: oo nga eh, sayang nga talaga. but kung makakausap ko siya through phone or email, baka pumayag siya. at least hindi naman refund yun diba? ^^
