Running from Makati to Tondo
I always wanted to try running from our office to home after work and everything went perfectly! Here are the logs…
- 6:30PM – Change of clothes from office to running attire.
- 6:40PM – Bid farewell to my officemates.
- 6:45PM – 7:00PM – Warm-up
- 7:15PM – Reached Waypoint 1: PICC (Roxas Boulevard)
- 7:25PM – Reached Waypoint 2: Luneta Park (KM 0)
- 7:35PM – Reached Waypoint 3: Lawton Park
- 7:45PM – Reached Waypoint 4: Binondo Church
- 7:55PM – Reached Waypoint 5: Juan Luna, Divisoria
- 8:05PM – Reached Waypoint 6: Moriones Plaza (in front of Mary Johnson Hospital)
- 8:15PM – Reached Goal: Home
Initially, I have at least nine (9) way points in mind but I forgot my guide and used my instinct of which is the best route to take. My real plan is to take Sta. Cruz bridge, then Lakandula, then Delpan, then Wagas until I reached my goal.
I’m not sure if I can try this again but I’m just lucky since the weather is good. If it’s not, then I will simply take taxi and ride all the way home (much easier for me, right?)
How about you? Do you have any running tips to share?
