Heavy Monsoon hits NCR, Philippines

Tonight is 11:04 PM, August 7, 2012, another hard rain poured heavily above our house, which we expect from all of us here who cannot sleep.

From the moment I woke up, around 3:00 AM earlier on same day, heavy rain was consistent on its track record by defeating Ondoy’s record last 2009.

Before, 455mm rainfall was recorded in 24 hours during Ondoy while the August 08 rainfall (or Habagat in Tagalog) recorded 472mm in only 22 hours, defeating the previous record three years ago.

Mostly, classes in all levels in almost all parts in NCR and Luzon were suspended by their respective local government units.

Please, help in a little way by posting your comment or suggestion on how we can stop or at least minimize these kind of casualties during such calamity. Your input is important in this perilous time.
