Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Barrera met again last October 07, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center; with both of them hoping to win their own fight. No, I am not in Las Vegas when it was held because I’m still blogging here in the Philippines though.

I watched the entire event; from the first round up to the last round at The Arena in San Juan. The event was also sponsored by SMART, Jollibee and Purefoods, even Mayor JV was there with us.

Me and my father had our breakfast before the fight started so I can still clearly recall what happened but I will not tackle about the details since there are lot of websites already who posted their own stories about the fight. Some of them are the following:

As you can see, there are many articles like that appeared a couple of hour after Manny Pacquiao won because of unanimous decision coming from the said judges.

Personally speaking, I got scared when I’m currently watching the 8th and 11th round because Manny seems hurt from the punches of Barrera but Pacman strongly held firm at his ground and did not run out of stamina to conquer Barrera’s raging hunger for victory.

For you Manny, congratulations on your win, please continue having a humble heart and that smile of yours even before the fight. As for Barrera, thank you for the good fight but I do not like what you did on the 11th round. If that’s a mistake, then I forgive you. If not, then we have another thread to discuss.

In any case, have a good day ahead. Mabuhay to all Filipinos, Mabuhay ka Pacman!

My mental block was over when I read Senator Obama’s question at LinkedIn. It was the first question posted at the top of the page, near the navigational buttons, thus, I decided to take a shot. I will not aim to be the best person who will answer this question but for the sake of failed May 2007 Election here in the Philippines, even if the Presidential election will preside three years from now (Year 2010), thus, you are reading this message.

Let us first dissect and define the important keywords in these question and I will try to connect their meaning with the “How” question later on; President, Help, Business, Entrepreneurs, Thrive.

President, the elected head of a society. It simply means that you have to win first in order for you to put your dreams (and promises as well) into reality. Being the President, you are the best and the last person to know how to “help” your people, thus, help means, make it easier for (someone) to do something.

Lending help should not be lie, it should come from the bottom of your heart, which is, to help your fellow people to grow, with their life, business, moral aspect, spirituality, everything. And speaking of business, it means, work to be done or matters to be attended to. Being a President also means to be a good business man, a smart-type entrepreneur in finding ways to to efficiently manage his own country. Just consider those video games out there, isn’t it fun to watch how your village grows and how furious to see your village fall? It is basically the same concept I’m trying to point out.

As for the meaning of entrepreneur, Oxford says, a person who sets up a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so. Wow, that is something bold, right? Are we talking about the “financial” aspects here for the leadership of a President? Yes, of course.

Do we need to redefine the question? Not necessarily. But where is my answer to Senator Obama’s question? Here it is.

The President can help small business and entrepreneurs thrive if the President is business minded as well and he’s also considered as a good entrepreneur even before assuming the seat of Presidency. Lastly, the President must also know how to formulate better “financial” strategy for his country with regards to any situations, be it positive or not. As the quote says, “Birds of the same feather, flock together”, for which, I believe in terms of political speaking.

If you want to add a certain percentage for your success in Presidency seat, we can help you in terms of advertising campaign. Of course, we’re talking about small business here. So, any thoughts about our offer? ^_^

Hama Chisaki, an actress, singer and model who was born in Kyoto, Japan on November 10, 1988. She gave birth to the fictional character of Ami Mizuno as Sailor Mercury in Sailormoon series who serves as a soldier for Princess Serenity.

Sadly speaking, according to Wikipedia, she became dormant in movie industry after the completion of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (PGSM). Luckily enough, I found this picture at Genvid’s Website and immediately created a wallpaper out of this picture but deep inside, I felt sad after reading such report.

I admit, I like Minako Aino before but after I saw her as Dark Sailor Mercury by using Dark Power, my taste became different. But of course, I hate Kunzite because of the spell he casted on her but that’s a part of the program of course. Thank goodness, Nephrite was there to save her from Kunzite’s backstab attack.

Why did I say so? Of all the senshi (soldier) in the anime series, she’s the smartest, intelligent and emotional type of girl. She may be weak physically but when it comes in planning strategies and data mining, she’s the best. Also, she’s a computer wizard in the anime series too that’s why, I think it’s common for me to like her. But somehow, her googles is not also present in the live action drama compared to the anime series.

The result!? A completely different Ami Mizuno in Anime and Live series! A job well done to Ryuta Tazaki for his wonderful guidance and dedication to make this movie a complete success!

Hi, how have you been? I’ve never been in Japan but I know where your country is, it’s on the northern part of the Philippines, too far away from your country I think. But thank goodness there is such thing called as Internet… even if you’re far, I can still feel that you’re near, here, in my heart.

How would you like me to call you? Should I call you Ami Mizuno, since you’re the best after I watched the whole series of PGSM. Maybe Hama Chisaki is better since a lot of people knows you by this name. How about Rika Izumi, after all, that’s your real name, right? Anyways, I’ll just call you Hama for now since I haven’t met you in person yet. But I guess I need to review some of my nihongo lessons again just in case we meet, right?

Know what, I’ve been trying to search for more details regarding your family background but it seems I’m not good enough with it. Maybe some of the websites I’m visiting are in Hiragana characters that’s why I cannot read it. But hey, I’m also using a firefox translator plugin which can translate any webpage into any languages but it seems it has some limitations on it. Anyways… making excuses is futile, right? A fan like me should be resourceful so give me enough time to fully understand your situation, but you should lend at least little help in return to make it more easier for me.

Actually, I’m really nervous to do this blog post for you because you’re the first j-pop artist whom I really like the most. What type of charisma do you have anyway? How about you? What kind of remedy you do whenever you feel nervous? What makes you nervous? Who are your favorite artist and model? For me, there’s only Hama in my heart.

You may ask, why did I not include http://www.hamachisaki.com, which is your “official” website? Let me explain. Whenever I visit your official website, it always forbids me to enter on it because my IP address does not fall with JPNIC listings. In short, it only allows visitors from your own country, right?

So… In order to visit your site, I used a proxy server from your country which services the requests of its clients by forwarding requests to other servers. I tried visiting your website again but it redirected me to your talent agency, Snow Rabbits. At first I thought it’s ok since I will also have a chance to view some of your friends’ profile but after I saw their pool of talents: your name, pictures, link, not even your shadow are present at their website. I was really pissed of.

My only question is… why are you not included in Snow Rabbits website? Have you actually retired or something? How about your fans, what are you going to do with them… with me? I am Jonell Borbon Estillore, sixteen (16) year old guy. I am currently in my fourth (4^th) year grade at Rizal High School in Pasig City.

Why did you choose Gusot as your nickname? What does it mean?
Gusot is not my nickname but my pseudonym is paurong. I started Paurong when I switched to WordPress.com but I deleted it and created Gusot after my birthday. Gusot because life of a person is not plain and simple (GUSOT dahil hindi plantsado ang buhay ng tao)

Why Paurong?
I have this third year friend named Kristine who called me “paurong” first on her old blog entries. she used it as a codename in counterpart nung dati kong kaibigan na tinawag niya namang “pasulong”. Since then, natuwa ako sa codename niya sa akin kaya iyon na ang ginamit ko sa blogging world.

As a 16 year old guy, what is your point of view in our local current events lately?
I believe that our country can survive its turmoil despite the gruel some heat of the upcoming election.

Can you name some of your bets in the upcoming elections?
The number one on my list is Prospero Pichay. I firmly believe on his advocates. Others include Tessie Aquino-Oreta and Joker arroyo and I am still thinking over other names.

Describe your family and your daily routine with them
The family I consider is my grandma and my aunt who took care of me ever since my parents left me. I am a product of a broken family which I don’t deserve to win back. I am lucky enough to have my grandma as my guardian and my aunt as something like a benefactress. I live with my grandmother only. I have siblings but they are with my father in Davao together with his second family. On the other hand, i have no idea where my mother is and whether or not she’s dead.

What is your advice to other who are also a part of a broken family?
Two words. Live life.

What is your ISP and why did you choosed it?
What an interesting question! I connect to the internet by dial-up. I buy ISPX internet card and/or SurfMAXX. I see to it that I set aside extra hours so that I can avail to their feature on free internet access during off-peak hours (normally from 12mn-6am).

What do you dislike about failure? What can you learn from it?
What I dislike about failure is that it irritates me so much. In spite of that, it takes time for me to realize that there is an important lesson behind my failures.

How did you invest your life the past year?
I turned into a more responsible Christian in the past year. I have invested my life to God but right now, I am in a total fall down. I am trying to climb up again to that faith I had way back then.

In all your accomplishments, what one thing are you proudest of?
The accomplishment I am proudest of is my every writing composition, be it any scribble, poem, editorial or short story. i am proudest of having my own style in writing.

What expectations do you have for yourself that were borne from childhood?
I have been expecting a lot for myself since the time I realized that I do not know how it feels to have a true best friend that can be there for me at all times.

Do you want to get right and famous one day? Why?
Yes, I want to famous in terms of my writing ability. I want to spread my ideas to each mind that can comprehend my thought.

I am a hypocrite to answer if I will say no to that question! I have my own luxury that i want to fulfill someday.

Do you have a girlfriend right now or crush as the case maybe?
Young as people can see from the outside. i have no girlfriend right now and ever since the world began.

So when do you plan to have one?
Let me add something to that. I am still on the course of defining what “love” is and what “love” is not.

So have you reached the melting point of your definition?
I am still too young to understand those things fully but I have my two open eyes to see that reality.
