Ok, the story goes like this…
My friend asked me to research on widely used keywords used in the Internet and Programming. Immediately, I asked him to just Google for it and the result is the above picture. Irrelevant, right?
To make this post to have a more technical and useful approach, I will post a simple list what is “foobar” is all about around the Internet, nevermind the “-ph” suffix for the meantime.
- foobar2000 – advanced audio player for the windows platform
- A common placeholder name also referred to as metasyntactic variable used in computers…
- an award-winning shareware productivity tool for Microsoft Windows 95 and NT created by matrix software…
- In RFC1639, “FOOBAR” was made an abbreviation for “FTP Operation Over Big Address Records”…
